Jessica has practiced with Swanson & Bratschun since November 2011. Jessica prosecutes patent applications in the fields of biotech, chemical, electrical and software. She has experience in various aspects of client counseling including U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, freedom-to-operate opinions, infringement and validity opinions, licensing agreements, and overall due diligence reviews.
Prior to law school, Jessica obtained her Ph.D. from the Brigham Young University in Organic Chemistry. Jessica’s research focused on developing efficient methodology for synthesis of 6-modified purine nucleosides.
